The Baltic Sea is a fantastic sea in many ways, but also challenging from a military perspective. The average depth is only about 55 meters, and its geography and hydrography make it difficult to detect and combat threats. But the Baltic Sea is our arena!

The Business Area Underwater Systems provides both military and civilian products that provide capabilities both above and below the water surface. Versatility, flexibility, and high availability are characteristics that define our products.

Your Profile

• The ability to maintain a helicopter view with interest in everything from coding to architecture, requirements management, and design.

• Interest in surrounding technologies and methodologies (containers, cloud, CI/CD).

• A "can-do" attitude and enjoy collaborating or even leading and coaching?

• Experience with e.g., C, C++, Python, Ada, or Qt.

• You are a civil engineer/college engineer or have equivalent knowledge, with several years of experience in system development with a focus on software.

You need to be able to read and write fluently in Swedish and English as this is a common requirement from our customers. The location is Linköping.

The position requires that you undergo and are approved according to current security clearance regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail requirements for certain citizenship.
