About the job
As a System Administrator in the Digital Resources Unit for Research and Learning, you will work as part of a team with a broad field of work within client and system administration. Your focus will be on automated approaches for large numbers of Windows clients in a multi-user context. Your tasks will vary from developing technical infrastructure used across the entire university to supporting individual teachers and researchers in their daily work and helping them get the most out of IT systems. Close collaboration and dialogue with educational activities and teaching staff is an important part of your role.

About you
We are looking for someone who enjoys providing good service and strives to deliver good solutions. Your genuine interest in technology means you are constantly learning new things and actively contributing to development within your field. To thrive in this role, you should be flexible and comfortable working with requesters in a changing environment. You have a good ability to organize, plan, and document your work. You enjoy working in teams and have excellent collaboration skills. For us, it is just as important that you are the right person as it is that you have the right technical competence.
We want you to have experience administering and developing Windows-based environments, including software installation, configuration, and troubleshooting, preferably with tools such as SCCM, Active Directory, Azure AD, Azure Virtual Desktops, Intune, Git, or similar.
You should also have experience with programming or advanced scripting in PowerShell, Python, or similar.
You have excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Swedish and English.
An academic education and experience working in an academic environment are meritorious.
