The Role

Do you want to lead business-critical development projects in an international environment where technology, business, and AI meet? We are now looking for a Project Manager for our Project Management Office (PMO) within IS/IT - a role for you who wants to drive the development and implementation of digital solutions with clear business value.

As a Project Manager, you are responsible for driving IS/IT projects through feasibility studies, procurement, and execution, where the solution is handed over to the operating organization and the business realizes the actual values. You work closely with the business and lead cross-functional teams together with internal and external specialists, suppliers, and decision-makers.

The projects vary in content - it can be anything from developing new digital solutions and more efficient work processes to introducing platforms, system upgrades, and AI-related initiatives. AI is a growing area within Toyota Material Handling Europe and a natural part of several projects, where you as a Project Manager get the opportunity to drive initiatives from early analysis to implemented solution.

You will be part of a PMO that drives digital transformation broadly within the organization. The PMO also plays a central role in our AI Program, which covers the entire chain from idea and analysis of potential values to the development and implementation of robust, secure, and scalable solutions. In this role, there is an opportunity to work closely with the AI program and eventually take on a larger role in that work.

You report to the Head of Project Management Office.

Responsibilities

• Plan and drive projects according to established methodology, with a clear focus on delivery and business value.
• Ensure progress throughout the project lifecycle - from initial analysis to implemented solution. Be comfortable working in change where both you and the project organization learn new capabilities.
• Lead cross-functional teams in an international environment.
• Coordinate resources and stakeholders from different business areas and countries.
• Ensure clear communication, follow-up, and documentation.
• Work structured and proactively with risk management and decision-making.

Your Profile

• We are looking for you who are a confident and experienced Project Manager with good ability to lead projects at the intersection of technology and business.
• You are structured, result-oriented, and have a natural drive to take projects from idea to delivery. You easily build trust and bring along both specialists and decision-makers in complex contexts.
• Approx. 5-10 years of experience leading projects within IT or digitalization.
• Documented experience of driving end-to-end projects, including budget and resource responsibility.
• Experienced in working with external suppliers, procurement, requirement specification, and testing.
• Experience in leading change and driving development initiatives in organizations.
• Experience in digitalization and business development; experience or interest in AI and data-related projects is meritorious.
• Academic education in technology/IT or equivalent.
• Fluent in Swedish and English.
