The Navigation area in Gripen is responsible for delivering fundamental data regarding speed, altitude, attitude, and position to the aircraft system. It covers the entire chain of hardware and software from various sensors to devices and data processing software. The functional area also includes various aids for landing.

We operate throughout the aircraft's entire lifecycle, from functional development to maintenance, to ensure high availability and low operating costs for the aircraft fleet. The area faces exciting challenges with an influx of operations, and therefore has a need to grow.

Your Role

In this key position, you lead the team that handles all hardware within the navigation area. You drive the team's work forward and actively participate in technical work related to our systems and devices. It is a broad role with many interfaces, where you have the opportunity to influence and improve working methods and solutions together with colleagues across the entire organization.

Responsibilities

Team Leadership:

• Lead, plan, and follow up on the department's operational investigations, production remarks, and support cases
• Compile reports and create decision-making materials
• Compile materials for publication changes
• Handle change requests

Technical Work and System-Related Tasks:

• Investigate fault reports and deviations from customers
• Answer technical questions related to devices and systems, both internally and externally
• Develop improvement proposals for technical instructions and working methods
• Support production in deviation investigations and technical assessments

Your Profile

We are looking for you who:

• Have an interest in leadership, coordination, and technology
• Are analytical and challenged by investigating problems and finding improvements
• Have good communication skills and enjoy collaborating with different functions and parts of the organization
• Are self-motivated and able to drive work forward, while maintaining a holistic perspective
• Have experience in technical systems work, production, or similar areas (preferred)
