Welcome to us

Preschool Area 2 municipal preschools consist of 10 preschools with unique characteristics for each preschool, while the management and leadership are clear and uniform. The unit's leadership consists of a principal and an assistant principal. In addition, there is the possibility of support functions such as guidance by a special needs pedagogue within the district. We work in a goal- and result-oriented manner and strive for equity in the organization. The goal is a good preschool for all children with very high quality. This means that we have a focus on developing our learning organization and enabling collegial learning in various forums. Competence development takes place continuously within our focus areas: Language-developing approaches in preschool and Culture, created for and by children.

At the preschool, you will work in a context where we see the employee as our most important resource and the work team as a key to continued high goal achievement. Now we are looking for you, engaged preschool teachers, with experience in leading and collaborating in work teams. In the role, you support and lead the work towards set goals, support colleagues in planning, follow-up, pedagogical work, and are responsible for driving and developing the work team's collaboration and quality in education.

Your role

The education in preschool should lay the foundation for lifelong learning. It should be fun, safe, and educational for all children. The education should be based on a holistic view of children and children's needs, where care, development, and learning form a whole. In collaboration with homes, the preschool should promote children's development into active, creative, competent, and responsible people and citizens.

The assignment means that you mainly work with:

• Leading and being responsible for teaching in such a way that the goals and intentions in the curriculum and the activity plan are met.
• Responsibility for the pedagogical content in the teaching that the work team carries out together.
• Responsibility for stimulating, challenging, following up, evaluating, and analyzing the child's development and learning.

Your competence and experience

We are looking for you who:

• are a certified preschool teacher.
• have very good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing.
• have a few years of experience from work in preschool.

We see that you have an idea of how you, together with your colleagues, should realize the curriculum's goals and values. We see that your child focus is clear and reflected in your approach in everyday life.

You have knowledge of how you make visible and further develop children's learning processes with the help of pedagogical documentation. You have a strong drive to keep the development of the pedagogical environment alive.
