The Preventive Unit targets individuals aged 65 and older. The operations offer courses in technology, health, and crafts, as well as social gatherings in the form of meeting points and supported home visits. We offer activities at fixed locations and times (Bro and Kungsängen) as well as mobile services. Activities are available year-round with the aim of fostering a sense of community, security, and togetherness, while strengthening participants as individuals. The overall goal is to create a more active and meaningful daily life.

During your first period, you will receive support and guidance to familiarize yourself with the organization, your tasks, and your colleagues. Job Description:

• Drive and develop meeting point activities for the elderly.
• Act as a technology coach for seniors, providing support in the use of digital technology such as smartphones, tablets, apps, and digital public services.
• Plan and conduct digital courses that strengthen the digital participation and independence of the elderly.
• Plan and lead physical and social activities.
• Organize lectures, theme meetings, excursions, and events.
• Collaborate with actors in the public and non-profit sectors, as well as volunteer activities.
• Document, follow up, and evaluate the operations.

We are looking for someone who has:

• A relevant university degree for the assignment.
• An interest in digital inclusion and preferably experience in supporting the elderly in using technology and digital tools.
• Experience working with the elderly and a good understanding of the target group's needs.
• Ability to plan and conduct physical activities for elderly people with varying functional levels.
• Good pedagogical skills and experience speaking in front of groups.
• Good ability to communicate in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
• Good IT competence.
• Category B driver's license.

About the position

The position is a permanent full-time employment. Probation may apply. Start date by agreement.
