Innovitaskolan Myrängen is looking for an engaged special needs teacher! Here, you will help create a safe and inclusive learning environment where every student succeeds. We offer strong collegial collaboration and a secure school with high goal results. We are a well-functioning, family-like small school with approx. 180 students in grades Pre-K to 3.
We are looking for an engaged and competent special needs teacher who wants to be an active part of our development! You will be part of the school's student health team and contribute to developing the systematic approach and efficiency in the process regarding students in need of special support, as well as participating in the preventive and health-promoting work at the school.
You plan, implement, and follow up on interventions in teaching to promote students' knowledge development. You work both individually and in groups with students in need of special support to develop accessibility in the learning environment. You provide guidance and support to colleagues in pedagogical work. You write assessments, investigations regarding special support, and action plans, as well as follow up on interventions and documentation. The work involves many contact surfaces with students, colleagues, guardians, and various authorities.
Your qualifications:
- Have teacher certification for lower primary school (required).
- Have a special needs teacher or special education degree and experience working in the field.
- Have experience writing assessments of students' need for special support and action plans.
- Are a safe and stable leader.
- Have the ability to build good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues.
- Are flexible and solution-focused with good collaboration skills and contribute responsibly to development in collegial learning.
- Are engaged and bring enthusiasm, energy, and joy to the work.
- Are structured and systematic.
- Are proactive, solution-focused, and translate your knowledge into practical and concrete actions.
- Are receptive and curious about the students' voice and perspective, believing that students do right when they can.
- Lead colleagues with receptiveness and curiosity.
- Master Swedish very well in both speech and writing as required in the work.
- Take responsibility for capturing and stimulating students' curiosity, interest, and learning.
- Have qualifications in Swedish as a second language.
- Have experience teaching in lower primary school.
- Have experience with language-developing teaching.
- A plus if you can document in ProRenata.

Terms of employment:
- Permanent position with a 6-month probationary period.
- Holiday service position (covering for absent staff).
- Working hours: According to schedule.
- Start date: According to agreement.
