Hello!

Our names are Ted and Tim, and we are currently looking for new assistants to join our wonderful and dedicated assistant team. We have 24/7 assistance and work with a schedule where we have two assistants each during daytime hours, and one assistant per person during evenings and nights. We are very happy with our team, but we need a calm and harmonious environment around us.

We use wheelchairs and live active lives, which means that as an assistant, you need to appreciate both fast-paced days and moments of recovery and relaxation. We have a rare diagnosis called Joubert syndrome. Sometimes things can become overwhelming for us, which may lead to outbursts or self-harm. Therefore, we are looking for someone with a secure and calm approach, as well as experience in handling stressful situations – this helps us to calm down faster.

Our assistants care deeply for us, and before you start working, you will receive a thorough introduction with shadowing. Having a driver's license is an advantage, and it is important that you are not allergic to fur.

PS. There is a strict no-smoking policy here, which our manager takes very seriously.

We are now looking for 1–2 assistants who can start as hourly employees immediately, with the possibility to work as substitutes during the summer.

Personal chemistry is crucial, and we place great emphasis on you being calm, stable, and loyal. These qualities are important for creating security and for being able to meet our needs in a respectful and professional manner.

Working hours vary with active hours around the clock. The shifts are scheduled between 7-17, 9-22, and 22-07.
