About the job as a personal assistant

As a personal assistant, you work closely with a person with a disability in their daily life. You assist and support the person both in everyday life and during leisure time. Your workplace is wherever the client is, and your overall task is to assist the client so that they have the conditions to live the life they desire.

Job Responsibilities

Your duties depend on the client's needs and lifestyle. They can range from personal hygiene, assistance with mobility, housekeeping, and cooking to assisting the client at work or during activities outside the home.

What we are looking for

We are looking for someone who is responsible, sensitive, and quick to learn new tasks. At Särnmark, you will always receive an introduction at the client's home as well as access to training regarding the role of a personal assistant.

About the employment

The employment is for a fixed term for as long as the assistance assignment lasts, and the pay form is hourly wages. Working hours vary based on the client's needs: days, evenings, nights (active and on-call), weekdays, and weekends.

Salary and other terms of employment according to the collective agreement for Personal Assistance, Vårdföretagarna - Kommunal.
