The Swedish National Board of Institutional Care (SiS) is an agency responsible for individually adapted compulsory care for young people with complex psychosocial issues and for adults with substance abuse problems. SiS also implements closed youth care. We do this in youth homes and homes for adults with substance abuse issues across the country. Working at SiS means your professional life will be an exciting challenge. Regardless of where you work within our organization or what role you have, you help create life-changing change.
SiS LVM (Compulsory Care for Substance Abuse) Home Lunden receives women with alcohol, drug, or poly-substance abuse issues. We receive clients with mental health issues and clients who require medical nursing. We operate in Lund.
Job Description
Do you want to be part of making a life-changing difference for vulnerable people? Then the role of Treatment Secretary at SiS is a meaningful job. The starting point of our treatment work is to motivate people to new and less destructive ways of living. As a Treatment Secretary, you will be responsible for the treatment planning for clients during their LVM period and the associated documentation. In close collaboration with the clients, social services, and staff at Lunden, you ensure that the client receives the most relevant treatment interventions possible. This role may also involve traveling, ensuring that rules and routines are followed, and assisting with ward work when needed.
Our vision is to be a place for change, and this permeates our approach, our engagement, and our attitude.
Working hours are Monday-Friday 07:30-16:00 with flexibility options.
Qualifications
Your personal suitability is the key to life-changing change. Therefore, you need to have a good ability to create engagement and participation. Equally important is that you have a solid positive view of humanity, are empathetic, and can build good relationships. You have good communication skills and can maintain your calm even in pressured situations. You also have a good ability to collaborate with others and are willing to share your knowledge with colleagues. We are looking for someone who is a good role model for our adult clients; therefore, we place great emphasis on personal suitability. You can work methodically and have the ability to analyze and understand contexts based on the client's described situation, and from this, develop suitable treatment interventions. You understand the importance of a pleasant approach and building professional relationships with clients. Good collaboration skills with clients, employees, and partners are of utmost importance. Since the treatment work is documented and discussed with several different actors, high demands are placed on good Swedish language skills in both speech and writing. It is also important that you, as a person, can set boundaries and work in a structured manner. Furthermore, it is important to be able to work independently and with engagement, while contributing to our shared joy of work.
You must also have:
- Relevant higher education such as a social worker degree or another behavioral science education that SiS considers equivalent and comprising at least 180 credits, as well as experience in treatment work.
- Category B driver's license
It is meritorious to have:
- worked with treatment within substance abuse care, psychiatry, or similar
Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
At SiS, we care about good employee relations. This means that as an employee, you take responsibility for your work, contribute to development, and participate in good collaboration.
