About Billingsdalsskolan

Billingsdalsskolan is one of two primary schools in Skultorp. We are a two-parallel school with approximately 300 students. The municipality has decided on the new construction of a primary school in Skultorp, so we are facing an exciting future in new premises.

Responsibilities

As a student assistant, you are responsible for, together with colleagues, implementing and following up on pedagogical activities based on steering documents and the students' needs. You create a safe and stimulating environment where students have the opportunity to develop social, creative, and practical skills. The role includes organizing activities both indoors and outdoors, as well as adapting activities to different ages and conditions.

You collaborate closely with colleagues in the work team and, together with them, need to find flexible solutions regarding staffing. The work also involves building good relationships with students and guardians, as well as contributing to the school's values-based work.

The position also includes covering for vacancies. This may mean stepping in to teach in a class, or covering when another resource is absent.

Qualifications

Student assistant or other pedagogical education or experience. You are a secure adult with good leadership qualities who can offer both support and encouragement and set boundaries. You work with high expectations and see good relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians as the natural starting point for your work.

Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
Duration: 3–6 months, Start date: 2026-08-03.

To begin working in preschool, school, after-school centers, and other pedagogical activities, you are required to show an extract from the criminal record. The extract is valid for one year and is ordered from the Swedish Police Authority (www.polisen.se). Anyone who has not shown an extract from the criminal record may not be employed, engaged, or received in the activity according to current legal requirements.
