Job Description

Hulanskolan is looking for an After-School Teacher for the lower grades.

Hulanskolan is a school for grades 1-5 where we work together to create a learning environment characterized by safety, participation, and high expectations. We believe in the power of good relationships and that all students can succeed when met by engaged and competent adults.

We are now looking for an after-school teacher who wants to be an important part of our work with the younger students.

Job duties: As an after-school teacher at Hulanskolan, you work both during the school day and in the after-school activities. Together with colleagues, you plan, implement, and develop activities that stimulate students' learning, social development, and creativity.

You contribute to creating a safe and inclusive environment for all students. You plan and conduct teaching in the after-school setting based on the curriculum's goals, collaborate with teachers, student health services, and guardians.

You develop activities that strengthen students' cooperation, sense of responsibility, and desire to learn, and contribute to the school's joint development work.

Qualifications

You are a certified after-school teacher or have other education that the employer assesses as equivalent.

You have a good ability to create positive relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. You are engaged, responsible, solution-focused, and see collaboration as a natural part of the assignment. You have an inclusive approach and a strong focus on the student.

Experience working in after-school settings and knowledge of accessible learning environments are meritorious.
