Kunskapsskolan in Sweden operates primary and upper secondary schools under the names Kunskapsskolan and Kunskapsgymnasiet. The first schools were established in 2000. Today, approximately 14,600 students attend the 29 primary schools and seven upper secondary schools. Kunskapsskolan is owned by its founder, Peje Emilsson, and his family.

Kunskapsskolan Borås is seeking a certified teacher for grades 4-6. Qualifications in mathematics, Swedish, and English are required, while qualifications in Social Studies (SO) or Natural Sciences (NO) are considered advantageous.

Kunskapsskolan Borås is a primary school for students from preschool class to grade 9. The school is divided into two buildings: one for preschool class to grade 3, and another for grades 4-9, with approximately 190 and 500 students respectively. The school opened in 2008 and is located on the regiment area in Borås. At our school, we have happy students who thrive and achieve good academic results.

To ensure every student reaches their full potential, we need skilled teachers with a strong commitment to the student. At Kunskapsskolan, we always put the individual at the center, which is why we are looking for you who actively work to ensure your students succeed. In addition to being a subject teacher, you will also serve as a personal mentor to about twenty students, holding weekly individual mentoring sessions with each of them. You will help them plan and set goals for their studies and follow up on these goals together with the students and their guardians.

At Kunskapsskolan, we emphasize teamwork. You are never alone with challenges or questions. We help each other plan work in working groups and subject groups. There is great openness among teachers, and we share a common responsibility for our students.

To facilitate your work and allow you to focus your time on students, we have consolidated a large part of our resources on our digital web portal, Kunskapsporten. For each subject, you will find suggestions for methods and tasks linked to the teaching materials we use.

Qualifications

We are looking for a certified teacher for grades 4-6 with qualifications in mathematics, Swedish, and English. Qualifications in Natural Sciences (NO) or Social Studies (SO) are advantageous.
