Description

Are you an engaged special needs teacher who is responsive and flexible in meetings with students in teaching and sees the entire school day as important? Are you also a licensed special needs teacher with the qualification to teach grades 1–6 in adapted primary school? Then we hope we have sparked your interest.

Påvelundsskolan F–9 is a school with approximately 1,100 students. The adapted primary school at Påvelundsskolan has 10–11 places. The students study both according to the curriculum's subjects and subject areas and are in grades 1–6.

The premises for our adapted primary school are designed to meet the students' needs and provide them with conditions for teaching, security, and study peace.

Our goal is for Påvelundsskolan F–9 to be an equitable school where students and staff thrive, learn, and develop. Our work is characterized by engaged staff who give students opportunities and conditions to develop and challenge themselves in their learning. We work for an open, developing, and pleasant work community with a focus on students' learning and pedagogical learning environment. We value relationship and communication competence. Systematic quality work is ongoing, and for the school year 2026/2027, we see a need to focus on communication at all levels. Through collaboration with guardians, we have a joint responsibility to create good conditions for learning throughout the entire school day.

Responsibilities

As a special needs teacher, you are primarily responsible for planning, implementing, following up, and documenting teaching. You always participate in the Student Health Team (SHT) meetings, collaborate with other professionals within the Student Health Team, and are responsible for the students' documentation in PMO (Student Support Services).

You collaborate with and lead the work team consisting of you as a special needs teacher, a teacher in training to become a special needs teacher, a school support pedagogue, a leisure center teacher, and student assistants. All to support our students.

To thrive with us, you should have a solution-focused attitude and good collaboration skills. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. You work preventively by removing obstacles in different learning environments. You are inspired by and exchange new thoughts and ideas, have experience in change work where you take an active role, and have close collaboration with colleagues who teach students in practical-aesthetic subjects and in collaboration with the primary school's joint activities.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a qualified special needs teacher with a focus on interventions (IF) and have experience teaching in adapted primary school. You have experience teaching students who study according to the curriculum's subject areas and subjects. We are looking for you with experience in documentation in Vklass and PMO.

You have an inclusive approach and create good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. You understand that all students have different conditions and absorb knowledge in different ways.

You can plan and prioritize your work independently and base your development work on an analysis of previous results. You are familiar with the steering documents and have the ability to apply them. You follow current research within the area of operations and have good ability to express yourself in speech and writing.

Based on your specific qualification, competence, and profile, in combination with the staff we have, service planning will be made.

We are looking for employees who are engaged and collaborate in work teams. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Interviews will take place during week 33.
