We are now looking for a substitute special needs teacher who we welcome to our student health team.

At Gothenburg Technical College, we work with a health-promoting and preventive approach from a salutogenic perspective, focusing on the student's needs. This means that the daily student health work should focus on health factors for each participant, and we believe that all students have the ability to learn, develop, and achieve the goals of the education. It is our mission to work so that all participants have good health, both physically and mentally, regardless of their basic conditions.
As a special needs teacher at Gothenburg Technical College, you operate at the individual, group, and organizational levels. You work strategically and preventively to help students and colleagues overcome learning barriers, and you take an active role in pedagogical meetings and class conferences based on identified health and risk factors. You act as a qualified conversation partner and advisor in pedagogical matters for colleagues, guardians, and other concerned parties. The role also includes identifying, investigating, addressing, and evaluating the work regarding students' need for pedagogical support, including pedagogical mapping and action plans.
We are proud of the pedagogical work done in our technical programs. It creates development and conditions for our students to reach their full potential.
