Job Description

Mimer AI Factory (https://mimer-ai.eu/ (https://mimer-ai.eu/)) aims to drive innovation, accelerate the use of AI, and position Europe as a global leader in AI. We provide access to AI-optimized supercomputers as well as services such as training and support for small and medium-sized enterprises, startups, researchers, and authorities.

You will primarily work in the Scientific Services group at KCSC (formerly PDC). Your responsibilities include facilitating, developing, and strengthening national AI/ML user support. In this role, you will collaborate with staff at KTH, RISE, and NAISS partner universities.

You will also participate in research activities within the NAISS infrastructure and contribute to the development of AI/ML competence in Sweden.

Qualifications

Requirements

• A completed PhD degree or a foreign degree assessed as equivalent to a PhD in a relevant discipline with specialization in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML).
• Several years of professional experience in AI/ML, with a focus on autonomous systems.
• Strong ability to communicate and disseminate information about the organization's activities.
• Knowledge of diversity and equal treatment issues, with a particular focus on gender equality.
• Good proficiency in English, both written and spoken, as this is required in daily work.

Personal Attributes

• Initiative, responsibility, and willingness to collaborate.
• Good teamwork skills and independence.

Merits

• Broad knowledge of various programming languages used in AI and ML.
• In-depth expertise in AI/ML for autonomous systems, including sensing, perception, planning, and control in dynamic environments.

About the Position
