Job Responsibilities

We are looking for a staff member for the group home on Industrigatan. The residence consists of five apartments for users, and the staff consists of six employees. As an employee at a group home, you have irregular working hours, which means you work during the day, overnight, evenings, and every other weekend. Solo work occurs.

As staff at the group home, you will play an important role in the users' lives. Within the operation, you work with providing care and support in daily living to ensure that users have the best possible life based on their individual conditions.

You are responsible for ensuring that users feel safe and that their social, psychological, and physical needs are met. You should work to ensure that users are involved in daily tasks and participate in social contexts. You will collaborate with users' relatives, guardians, the health care team, and others.

Within the group home, you work with low-affective interaction and clarifying pedagogy, such as pictures, sign support, schedules, etc.

You also work with social documentation and implementation plans established according to the user's needs.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have the ability to promote equality in living conditions and full participation in community life for users. The goal should be that users have the opportunity to live like others. When measures concern users, you should always consider their best interests.

You are educated in child and youth activities or as a nursing assistant with a focus on disabilities, youth leader, support teacher, or other education that the employer deems equivalent.

A driver's license is required.

We want you to have experience working with people with disabilities. You should have the ability to organize and structure. The work requires qualities such as flexibility, good initiative-taking ability, teamwork skills, and the ability to see the big picture.

Knowledge and experience in using a computer as a work tool. The work requires good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing. Great importance is attached to personal suitability.

There is an opportunity to combine the work with being a part-time firefighter. Assessment is made based on the operation's needs.

Interviews will take place during weeks 30-32.
