We are now looking for an engaged and responsible personal assistant for a young man with cerebral palsy (CP). He uses both a wheelchair and a walking frame in his daily life and needs support to live as independent and active a life as possible. He still lives at home, which means you will become part of a context where collaboration and good communication are important.

About the job 🧡

In the role of personal assistant, you will become an important part of his daily life. You will support him with daily routines, transfers, and personal care, as well as in activities and social situations. You will accompany him to his day program and be a support throughout the day.

The work is scheduled in 24-hour shifts, meaning you will work during the day, evening, and night. This is a position of approximately 50%, and you need to be able to start the introduction and work immediately and be available going forward.

Who are you? 🌿

We are looking for someone who:

• understands what it means to work in personal assistance
• is responsible, secure, and responsive
• has a good attitude and can work independently
• has a driver's license and access to a car to get to work
• enjoys a job where no day is the same as the other

It is an advantage if you have experience or knowledge regarding PEG/feeding tube care.
