Your role with us

The tasks primarily consist of providing our customers with:

• individual support and care
• develop and maintain abilities and communication considering the functional impairment
• support customers' participation in leisure and cultural activities
• support customers' participation at all levels: individual, group, and societal
• support customers' self-determination and personal integrity
• responsible for social documentation according to current guidelines
• perform medical tasks on delegation by a nurse when applicable

We are looking for you who can work days/evenings/weekends/nights.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for you with a completed education from the Care and Nursing program or the Child and Youth program. Experience working with people with functional variations is meritorious. It is an advantage if you have experience working as a support assistant or if you have worked in care-related or pedagogical work within LSS (Act for Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments) operations. We also appreciate if you have experience as a contact person. Experience in working with low-affective approaches and using clarifying pedagogy is meritorious.

Since the work requires communication and documentation, we assume you are computer literate and proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written. It is an advantage if you have experience working in medical record systems such as LifeCare.

We are looking for you who is a team player with good cooperation skills, is stress-resistant, flexible, and finds solutions in everyday life. You have a professional attitude towards everyone you meet in your work. Furthermore, you have the ability to plan and structure the work from a holistic perspective, can make your own decisions while respecting decisions made by others, and can perform work on behalf of others. As a person, you are sensitive to the needs of children/youth. You can work both independently and together with colleagues.

If you are offered employment within functional support, you need to order and present an extract from the police's criminal record.

This is who we are

The Care Administration's operations are directed towards the elderly and people who need functional support, as well as people who need home care. The operations are functionally divided into four areas: support in ordinary housing, support in care and nursing homes, health and medical care, and functional support. The administration also includes the authority unit, the national gymnasium, and the assistive technology center in Eastern Skåne.

Salary

Kristianstad Municipality applies individual and differentiated salary setting.

Start Date

The position is a temporary assignment starting as agreed and until 2027-08-31.

Salary type: Monthly salary. Employment type: Fixed-term employment. Duration: 6 months or longer.
