Rosenborgsenheten is a comprehensive school (grades F–9) in Södertälje Municipality. Majtorpskolan houses grades F–3 and the leisure center, while Rosenborgsskolan houses grades 4–9, a municipality-wide special education group, and the adapted comprehensive school. In total, Rosenborgsenheten has over 900 students. There is a music profile and a sports profile at the lower secondary level, which students from across the municipality apply to attend.

We are now looking for a Swedish teacher for grades 7–9. Together with your colleagues, you will make the students' entire school day both safe and full of knowledge!

Your responsibilities

As a Swedish teacher at Rosenborgsenheten, you collaborate with skilled and professional colleagues regarding our students. You teach Swedish in grades 7–9 and also serve as a mentor for one of the lower secondary classes. Since the school offers a theoretical profile in addition to the music and sports profiles, you may also be involved in teaching students within this profile.

We want our students to be engaged and secure in an inspiring learning environment, and we offer varied teaching and activities. At the school, we work to develop our teaching methods, placing great emphasis on planning, implementation, and follow-up of instruction, as well as relationship building. Together with colleagues, you will actively work to develop student learning. It is of utmost importance that you have a positive attitude towards our students and a strong ability to see their potential. As a person, you need to be solution-focused and development-oriented, with good communication skills towards students, guardians, and colleagues. You thrive in an environment that demands high flexibility, initiative, and social competence. We are open to new ideas, have the courage to try, develop, and learn. Part of the job involves maintaining continuous documentation, providing support during investigations, and assisting other educators in this work.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who is a qualified, skilled, and driven subject teacher in Swedish, with the eligibility to teach grades 7–9. We place great emphasis on teamwork and pedagogical leadership. Your fundamental outlook is characterized by seeing opportunities and having a positive and inclusive attitude.

• You conduct result analyses, evaluate, and follow up on your work.
• You are well-versed in Lgr 22 and the regulatory documents within your profession.
• You see the advantages of close collaboration and understand the importance of creating good relationships at all levels.

Requirements:

• Degree with teacher certification and eligibility to teach Swedish.
• Good digital competence.
• You have good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish.

• Eligibility in Swedish as a Second Language (SvA).
