Job Responsibilities

Do you have an interest, desire, and commitment to work with children? Do you enjoy taking responsibility, and can you step in with short notice, even if you receive a booking from the preschool early in the morning?

During sickness, childcare, and other leaves of absence, we need temporary staff. As a temporary employee, you will be placed directly into the operations, where it is expected that you are flexible and can quickly adapt to different routines. You will have the opportunity to work at several of our preschools for shorter or longer assignments. The work requires you to be reachable from approximately 06:30.

Working in a group of children means you always need to keep the children's best interests in focus. You will be a helping hand and share in the tasks found in a preschool. In the preschool, both trained and untrained childcare assistants, preschool teachers, and pedagogues work together.

The preschool serves children from one year of age until they start school. Here, a foundation is laid for children's learning and development. The municipality has 28 municipal preschools and family daycares.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who want to start working at our preschools in Härryda Municipality during the autumn. You must be able to step in with short notice, even if you receive a booking from us early in the morning. As a person, you are empathetic, engaged, calm, and responsible, with a genuine interest in working with children.

Your Qualifications:

• Very good knowledge of the Swedish language, both oral and written.
• Good computer skills.
• Extract from the Police Register ("Control of Own Data" and "Extract for work in school or preschool").
• High school diploma.
• Ability to work at least 4–5 full days per week, Monday–Friday.
• Reachable from 06:30 in the morning.

Merits:

• Ability to work in all areas: Mölnlycke, Landvetter, Hindås, Rävlanda.
• Relevant work experience.
• Relevant education for the profession.
• Several years of work experience.
• Category B driver's license.

To obtain employment, an extract from the Police Register must be presented. You order the extract on the Police's website. If you are called for an interview, you must bring two different extracts from the Police Register, "Control of Own Data," in an unopened envelope, and show the extract for work in school or preschool.

For this application, you need to answer a number of selection questions when you apply. Answers to the questions are used as part of the selection process. Your CV and answers to the questions must be formulated in Swedish.
