We are now looking for another Senior Social Secretary to join our work group. We are looking for you who want to be part of our continued development and improvement work within the unit. The unit consists of driven employees with a desire to change things for the better for the citizens of Lerum. At our Adult Unit, you become part of a work group where community and collaboration are in focus. We help each other, share ideas, and exchange knowledge. Together, we strive for a workplace where there is time and space for reflection, education, and recovery. You will be involved in developing the operations and be an important part of a team working with authority functions and treatment.

The unit handles issues related to harmful substance use and addiction, domestic violence, social psychiatry, and housing social interventions, among others. The target group is individuals over the age of 20. Everyone in the unit has many years of experience in the unit's area of responsibility. We are a work group that enjoys working together, helps each other when needed, and has fun. As a Senior Social Secretary, you will be part of the unit's management group. We offer supervision together with other Senior Social Secretaries within the sector.

In Lerum, you have good commuting opportunities to the workplace as it is located near the commuter station, with only about a 1-minute walk to the office. From Gothenburg Central Station or Alingsås, it takes about 20 minutes by train to Lerum. If you drive, there is free parking.

Job Responsibilities

The position primarily involves responsibility for social psychiatry and housing social issues, but you will work closely with a Senior Social Secretary responsible for harmful substance use, domestic violence, dropouts, etc.

The work as a Senior Social Secretary involves, among other things, leading and distributing work at the unit as a first-line manager, supervising staff case handling, and ensuring that the work is conducted in accordance with current legislation and that adopted goals, routines, and guidelines are followed. It also involves environmental scanning; being involved in creating conditions for work to be conducted based on current knowledge and proven experience. You work to maintain legal security within the unit and advocate for chosen benefits/interventions to be quality-assured and cost-effective. Collaboration with other actors regarding housing is part of the assignment.

You provide methodological supervision both in groups and individually, adapted based on staff competence and needs for support in structuring/prioritizing. The assignment also includes participating in the development of operations through method development themes based on the unit's goals. The role includes a collaboration responsibility, meaning promoting and participating in collaboration with partners both internally and externally. In the position, you will be responsible for the introduction of new employees together with the unit manager.

Our ambition is to have high involvement for our clients and otherwise legally secure handling at all levels. We primarily use internal interventions. In the role of Senior Social Secretary, you will present cases before the Individual Board and also in the Administrative Court.

Qualifications and Merits

Qualifications:
You have a degree in Social Work, extensive experience in authority functions within the area of operations is required, and experience as a Senior Social Secretary or equivalent managerial function.

You have a very good ability to lead and develop employees in their professional roles. You should have close collaboration with the other Senior Social Secretaries in the operation, and you will cover for each other during absence.

You are stable and can maintain your calmness and objectivity in difficult situations, providing individually adapted support to employees. You are driven, engaged, confident, have a holistic view, and a professional attitude. You have the ability to prioritize, are thorough and analytical, knowledgeable, and have the ability to absorb new knowledge and the pedagogical ability to share it. You have a very good ability to express yourself in speech and writing.

Experience in handling social psychiatry cases is required, and experience with housing social issues is meritorious, as is experience with ICF. Since the work may involve travel, a valid B driving license is required. Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.

In accordance with the directive, you are hereby informed of the salary statistics for the current position: 48,200 SEK in the 10th percentile, 52,000 SEK in the median, and 52,500 SEK in the 90th percentile.
