I am now looking for you who feel that you are flexible in terms of days and times for work. You need to be able to rearrange your day when I need you, which is usually in case of acute absence from other assistants, e.g., illness. It can also be for more planned absences, such as vacation.

I am looking for someone who does not feel the need to be social or have colleagues to work with, as you will always work alone. I am not looking for a friend to sit and chat with all the time (usually not at all, more than what concerns your work on that specific day).

As a temporary substitute, you play a very important role in my assistance and life to ensure my life functions even when there are gaps in the assistant team. You need to be able to work 24-hour shifts (24 hours with night duty).

As a temporary substitute, you may be asked to work all times of the day. So, it is not always 24 hours, but I need you to be able to work shifts, both weekdays and weekends. My need for assistance is around the clock.

If you are looking for a job where you want to take care of someone, this is not the workplace for you, as I do not want to feel that someone is taking care of me.

Criteria to meet for this position:

• Female, 18+
• Fluent Swedish in speech and writing (the assistance need requires this)
• Flexible and easy to rearrange plans when I need you.

Who am I? I am a 48-year-old woman living alone. It is important to me that I feel like I live alone, even though I always have an assistant working. I am very particular about my privacy and want things exactly as I wish.

I have a spinal cord injury that means I sit in an electric wheelchair and have reduced muscle strength, which means I have quite a few other assistive devices, for example, a ventilator, cough assist machine, lifting aids, a button on my stomach, etc. I have also had surgery on my neck and have some nerve pain.

I like to meet friends and family when my body allows/has the energy. I also like to travel, both within and outside Sweden. I have been to Thailand and the USA, among other places. I also enjoy cooking and baking.

You need to feel comfortable being with me in various contexts, such as at home, at friends'/family's houses, on trips, or why not an evening at the pub when I am out with friends.

Do you want a job where you are crucial for my life to run smoothly? This means you may need to put your own life on pause during your working hours. You can stay in the background but still be focused when it is really required.

You easily absorb information and follow routines, so that the work flows well for both me and you.
