The Health and Social Care Administration, with its approximately 1,500 employees, is one of the administrations in the City of Mölndal and covers elderly care, support for people with disabilities, and healthcare.
Konditorivägen is a group home in Lindome for young adults with neuropsychiatric disabilities, substance abuse issues, and mental health problems such as psychosis and self-harm. There are six apartments with private entrances and outdoor areas, as well as common spaces. The tenants are high-functioning users with complex needs who receive individually adapted support in their daily lives with the goal of becoming independent. We work with low-affective handling and other evidence-based methods to create a safe and stable environment. The team working here consists of ten dedicated individuals who share knowledge, develop together, and support each other in situations that can sometimes be very demanding. We are now looking for two new colleagues who want to help create the best possible everyday life for our users.

As a support assistant, you work to support the user in their daily life by creating a comprehensible, manageable, and meaningful existence, as well as working preventively and systematically. You provide professional support and strengthen each individual's self-esteem and belief in their own abilities - all work is based on the user's individually drawn-up implementation plan.
You are involved in establishing and/or maintaining social networks. Your role also involves supporting users in developing a sense of belonging, providing support in social activities, and approaching the labor market. The aim is to support full participation in society based on each person's individual wishes.
You provide support with daily tasks such as planning, laundry, cleaning, diet, cooking, shopping, finances, medication, and healthcare contacts. Some users have pets. Verbal threats and suicide attempts occur frequently, but we have methods to handle this.
You belong to a work group with support assistants and support pedagogues. You work with social documentation in the Treserva documentation system and continuously follow up and revise implementation plans. We work with operation-adapted and influenceable schedules. The need is continuously adapted to the operation's needs, which means you need to be prepared to work during the day, evening, weekends, and sleeping on-call.

It is meritorious if you have training in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and experience working with Timecare and Treserva. Since it can be difficult to get to the unit with public transport at certain times, it is good if you have a driver's license and access to your own car.
