Do you want to support young people in making a change? The Individual and Family Care Administration (IFO) in Borås Municipality works to provide support to children, young people, and their families, as well as adults in vulnerable life situations.

About the Role

Mini Maria is part of the Youth Centre, where the focus is on the needs of young people and young adults related to substance abuse, crime, and norm-breaking behavior. Within the Youth Centre, we work in a cohesive chain ranging from preventive and outreach work to investigation, assessment, and treatment interventions. Mini-Maria South is an integrated outpatient clinic operated in close collaboration between IFO Youth Centre and Regionhälsan within the Region of Västra Götaland. We serve young people up to the age of 21 who have questions or concerns regarding alcohol, drugs, or gambling. At the clinic, social workers, social pedagogues, nurses, doctors, and psychologists work together in interdisciplinary teams with the goal of providing qualified support, counseling, and treatment to both young people and their relatives. Our main clinic is located in central Borås, and we are also easily accessible through several satellite clinics in surrounding municipalities, allowing us to meet young people and families where it suits them best.
