At Lärarförmedlarna, our mission is to ensure that the door to the classroom is always open – even when regular teachers are sick or need to be away. It's an important job where you make a difference for children and young people every day.

Lärarförmedlarna is the largest provider of substitute teachers for schools in Sweden. We have agreements with many schools and preschools, offering a wide variety of exciting assignments. We are now looking for you who want to work as a subject teacher in music at the lower secondary school level (grades 7-9) during the spring semester.

Looking for: A passionate music pro

We are looking for someone who can conduct both choir and club concerts. You encourage students to sing loudly and dare to make mistakes. You get them to listen for the rhythm in Beethoven's 5th Symphony and explain why music is both mathematics, language, and courage. Naturally, you have sufficient knowledge and experience to understand what is important moving forward. Above all, you love teaching!

How Lärarförmedlarna works

With Lärarförmedlarna, work life becomes easier! You can work from preschool to adult education, full-time or part-time, frequently or rarely. Assignments last from a few weeks up to a semester. (Do you want to work on shorter assignments or single days? Then we recommend our sister company, Pamoja). You are always matched to your best assignment and never have to compete with colleagues for jobs. It is secure for both you and the school.

How the job works

The job as a substitute teacher involves planning and conducting teaching. It also includes contact with colleagues and parents.

You handle the job easily in our user-friendly app. Additionally, you always have personal contact with our support team who assists you when needed – before, during, and after work. You work securely with a collective agreement. Naturally, you receive a thorough introduction to the job before you start.

What do you need to know?

Our customers love our staff! Therefore, we are careful when we recruit.

→ You need to be a trained teacher or have other relevant education.

→ You need experience in teaching, assessment, and evaluation.

→ You are a skilled pedagogue who sees that the job is also about enthusiasm and inspiration.

→ You need to speak and write Swedish (or in some cases English), and have a valid extract from the criminal record.

→ You should want to be a role model for everyone you meet. Smart and kind, simply :)

→ You need to be able to work part-time or full-time during the spring semester.

How to apply
