About Us
Humaniora vård och omsorg is the municipal provider in Solna Municipality. We are responsible for group homes according to the LSS Act (Act on Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). The target group for our operations is adults within person group 1 of the LSS Act.
What We Offer
What Does the Job Entail?
As a support assistant, your main task is to work with those living in the home, individually with each person, so that each individual feels involved and independent in their life. You do this by working methodically based on low-affective handling and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC).
Each individual has an implementation plan that describes how the individual needs to receive support from you, the support provider. As a support assistant, duties include cleaning and laundry, delegated healthcare tasks such as medication management, cooking, personal care, support in meal situations, accompaniment during trips, and leisure activities such as swimming, exercise, and music. Administrative tasks such as writing notes in the individual's journal and booking transport services are also part of the role.

In the role of support assistant, it is important to be empathetic, flexible, and have good communication skills. The position is a permanent employment with start date as agreed. We apply a probationary period. The work is scheduled during days, evenings, and nights (sleeping on-call) throughout the week, which means weekend shifts are included in the position.
