About the Position

Gårdby School is a grades F-6 school with an integrated after-school center (fritidshem) comprising approximately 135 students. The school is located on the eastern side of Öland, where the surrounding area offers accessible and beautiful nature as well as an environment shaped by exciting history. Gårdby School is "the small school with the big heart," where we work to ensure all students succeed based on their prerequisites. Health and well-being are at the center so that every student can reach their full potential, and the staff acts as guides, motivators, and creators of security.

Responsibilities

• During school hours, provide support for students during schoolwork and breaks. Collaborate with the mentor to plan and structure this support work.
• Together with the mentor and student health services, follow up on and develop the support work.
• During after-school hours, participate according to schedule in the two after-school center departments.
• Carry out planned activities together with colleagues in the after-school center.

Qualifications

• Licensed teacher for after-school centers (fritidslärare).
• Good ability to build relationships and trust.
• Works in a structured and solution-focused manner.

• Salary: Monthly salary.
• Employment Type: Fixed-term employment.
• Duration: 6 months or longer.
• Start Date: From 2026-08-03.
• End Date: 2027-06-24.
