About the position

The preschools Kristineäng and Tallbacken in the Kristineberg area are located near forests, fields, and the sea, creating great opportunities to discover and explore nature. We work with various projects and language- and knowledge-developing approaches where the learning environments play a central role. We want to create inspiring and challenging places where children and adults meet, have fun, and learn together both indoors and outdoors. The Education Administration's vision "A Good Life" forms the foundation of our work, where we place great emphasis on nurturing everyone's desire to learn. By starting from the children's interests, curiosity, and initiatives, we create learning processes that promote development and learning towards the goals of education. Responsibilities

In the role of preschool teacher, you are engaged and work based on the curriculum for a dynamic preschool that makes a difference for the children. Together with your colleagues in the work team, you reflect on your teaching with the aim of developing it. You work based on current regulatory documents and plan, implement, evaluate, and develop the education together with the work team. You will use pedagogical documentation as a natural tool for reflection and be involved in making project-based working methods a part of the teaching. In your profession as a preschool teacher in Oskarshamn Municipality, you lead, plan, document, and evaluate the activity together with the rest of the work team, starting from the curriculum. In the assignment as a preschool teacher, you maintain and develop good relationships with both children, guardians, colleagues, and other actors. You and your colleagues contribute to our children having a fun, secure, and educational time in preschool.

In interaction with the outside world, we learn from each other. All children get to feel satisfaction from making progress, overcoming difficulties, and feeling that they are an asset to the group. It is your task to start from the child's interest while consciously directing the child's learning towards the goals of the education. The children have the opportunity to deepen and broaden their thinking and exploration of phenomena and materials together with other children and adults. This happens by developing a project-based approach as a teaching form, a teaching that is playful and interdisciplinary.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are trained as a preschool teacher and have good ability to lead and structure the daily work at the preschool with the good meeting in focus. You communicate well in Swedish, both orally and in writing. You are also accustomed to using digital tools as part of the teaching. We imagine that you:

• have understanding and knowledge of the assignment based on the curriculum Lpfö18, rev 2025
• create pedagogical environments that are creative, aesthetic, and full of opportunities based on the children's different needs
• on a structured, quality-aware, and flexible basis, help drive the daily work
• have the ability to collaborate, inspire, and spread joy in working
