For children and young people who have turned 13, there is an opportunity for short-term supervision at Skogslyckan through LSS (Act on Support and Service for Certain Persons with Functional Disabilities). Here, children and young people eligible for LSS are welcomed after school hours when guardians are working or if there is a need for this specific type of intervention.

Skogslyckan's leisure center is located in the premises of Albäcksskolan and collaborates with adapted primary and upper secondary schools. The activity at Skogslyckan focuses on learning with an individual focus in social collaboration with peers and staff. We see the differences among all students and staff as an asset. As an employee at our LSS leisure center, you work to create a safe and stimulating environment for our students. You plan and carry out activities that promote social interaction, development, and well-being.

Responsibilities

• Providing tube feeding, managing lifts, and assisting with student mobility.
• Using alternative communication methods, such as sign language or picture support.
• Adapting activities based on individual needs and conditions.
• Collaborating with colleagues, relatives, and other professional actors.
• Contributing to a positive and inclusive environment.
• Continuously informing guardians about the activities.
• Compiling schedules for the school year, planning holiday activities, and updating as needed.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have experience working with functional variations and have experience with neuropsychiatric functional variations and students with special needs. You need to have organizational skills and be structured in your administrative work. Nurse assistant education is meritorious.

We want you to be engaged, flexible, and willing to think new and different ways with the student's best interest in mind. You will become an important person in the work around the LSS leisure center. Therefore, we see that you can collaborate with your closest colleagues, other staff who meet our students, as well as guardians and external actors such as Habilitation services.

You are positive and creative, see opportunities before obstacles, and enjoy working practically. You take responsibility for the whole and see good relationships as a success factor for succeeding in your assignment.
