The operations of the Education Administration have developed strongly over the last ten years, with good results for students and one of Sweden's highest rates of qualified teachers. We want to capture every child's and student's desire to learn and encourage every individual to want to develop.

Funkaboskolan is located just north of Kalmar city center and is one of the oldest schools in the city. The catchment area stretches from Ölandsleden in the south to Krafslösa in the north. To the east, we border Kalmarsund, and to the west, Norra vägen. Funkaboskolan is a comprehensive school (grades F-9) with approximately 870 students and 115 staff members.

• After-school center (Fritidshem)

• Comprehensive school grades 1-9

We are now looking for you who want to become part of our work team and thereby give the students the best possible conditions for their learning. Together with and in collaboration with other colleagues, you will further develop and be responsible for the teaching at the after-school center. You will also be an important part during the school day, where you collaborate with your colleagues regarding the students. During school hours, the work will be directed towards individual student(s) who need more support during the school day to succeed with schoolwork and social situations.

Here, you will meet dedicated, motivated, and competent staff who all work for the students' best interests. You will also have a very rewarding and fulfilling job where you build close relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians. Additionally, you will have the privilege of participating in the positive development of many students.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are educated as an After-school Pedagogue, a licensed teacher with qualifications for the after-school center, or equivalent higher education that the employer finds suitable. If you have qualifications to teach in a specific subject, this is a merit.

As a person, you are calm and stable and have the ability to create a safe environment for all students. We would like you to have an easy time building trusting relationships and see value in collaborating with colleagues and parents.

Important qualities for the assignment are flexibility, responsiveness, responsibility, and social competence.
