Backsippa Preschool in Blackstad is now looking for a resource pedagogue to support a child with specific medical needs.

Your Responsibilities

Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that the child's medical needs are met during operating hours at the preschool. You will be part of a work team that collaborates based on current guidelines and regulations. As a resource pedagogue, you have unique opportunities to influence children's development and learning.

You will contribute to creating a positive and developmental environment for each child and the entire group by collaborating with the work team according to curriculum goals. It is important that you build good relationships with children, parents, and colleagues. You will participate in the planning and evaluation of the pedagogical work.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for you who are trained as a nursing assistant or childcare worker with experience in helping children with extra needs for medical supervision. It is meritorious if you have previous experience in pedagogical work in preschool and/or post-secondary pedagogical education.

It is also meritorious if you have prior experience working in a preschool setting. For this position, having a B-driver's license and access to your own car is meritorious.

To succeed and thrive with us, you need to have good collaboration skills, be empathetic, and have the ability to put yourself in others' perspectives. You should be self-assured, stable, and have good self-awareness. It is important that you have pedagogical skills and an understanding of how children absorb knowledge. You must be able to take initiative and start activities in the workplace.

The position is subject to a background check. Applicants must provide a certificate of good conduct from the police before employment begins.
