Primary School Teacher Grades 1-3 for a small teaching group with students in need of special support

Do you want to make a real difference in students' lives – every day? We are now looking for an engaged primary school teacher for grades 1-3 for a smaller teaching group for students with various disabilities.

You will work with a small student group where the teaching is adapted to each individual's needs, prerequisites, and strengths. The focus is on creating a safe, structured, and meaningful learning environment where students have the opportunity to develop both academically and socially.

The work takes place in close collaboration with special education teachers at the Adapted Primary School Student Health Service and other staff.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and follow up on teaching based on students' individual needs
• Create a clear and predictable structure in daily life
• Work with alternative and augmentative communication methods (AAC) when needed
• Collaborate with guardians and other professions such as Habilitation Services, Syncentralen, and Hearing Care.
• Closely collaborate with the Adapted Primary School as well as the regular primary school
• Contribute to the development of students with various disabilities

Qualifications

• Licensed primary school teacher for grades 1-3
• Experience working with students in need of special support is an advantage
• Good ability to individualize teaching
• Knowledge of neuropsychiatric disabilities and/or intellectual disabilities is an advantage
