Lindsdal Schools is one unit but consists of two schools: Lindsdal and Sjöängsskolan. Approximately 1,100 students attend here and about 145 staff members work here.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The position includes pedagogical work in the after-school centers (fritidshem) as well as serving as a pedagogical resource in the primary school's operations, primarily at the intermediate level (grades 4-6) at both Lindsdal and Sjöängsskolan. This means you will be an additional resource based on the needs present throughout the entire operation, ensuring that students are given equal opportunities to develop and keep up with the teaching. You will support students' participation during the school day, in peer interactions, and in the school's other activities, with both independence and inclusion as goals.

Your main responsibilities include:

• building good relationships with all students
• conducting individual or group conversations about being a good friend
• actively participating in team work
• collaborating with school staff in other school activities
• contributing to various development projects
• working preventively with student health and safety initiatives
• organizing break-time activities
• leading after-school activities together with the school's after-school pedagogues
• maintaining good contact with parents via SMS, email, and phone

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are educated as an educational assistant, or have another education that the employer deems equivalent. You should be a positive, secure, and calm person. We require teamwork skills and flexibility. You should be someone who sees opportunities instead of difficulties and has a developed ability to build secure relationships. We place great emphasis on personal qualities.

No prior experience working in schools or after-school centers is required.

The employment may be extended during the spring semester of 2027.
