Job Description

Since the start of the school year 2022/23, we have been working at the lower primary level at Färjestadens School from a new organizational perspective. We are now fully operating from a Grades 1-3 perspective, where the four work teams are responsible for their respective grade levels. To meet the students' needs throughout the school day, the work teams consist of teachers with various types of competencies and different areas of responsibility, including primary school teachers, preschool class and after-school center teachers, and special needs teachers.

You will be part of a work team consisting of several educators and will have mentoring responsibilities for a group of students. Your duties include planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting teaching individually and together with your colleagues. We therefore place high demands on your ability to collaborate and be part of a whole, as well as your ability to elevate your surroundings. Furthermore, you adapt easily and can maintain focus when conditions change. You contribute to a good working climate.

Qualifications

We are primarily looking for you who have a primary school teacher degree with a focus on Grades 1-3. You have a natural interest in children, learning, and development work. You understand the importance of collaboration as an important tool for improving the quality of teaching. You have a holistic perspective regarding different learning environments. We assume that you have good insight into and knowledge of the school's steering documents.

You develop and improve both your individual work and your knowledge of collegial work based on research and proven experience. To create successful work teams, we are looking for you who are curious, open to different ways of working, and flexible in your approach to collaboration. As a person, you have the ability to build good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues, and can contribute to a positive working climate. In your work, you are passionate about and skilled at putting the student at the center. Furthermore, you have the ability to work solution-oriented, structured, and goal-directed. Together with your colleagues, you actively engage in improvement and development work to drive school development forward.

About the Position
