Kalmarsunds Gymnasieförbund is a municipal consortium tasked with operating and developing upper secondary education and municipal adult education for the member municipalities of Borgholm, Kalmar, Mönsterås, Mörbylånga, and Torsås. We have approximately 4,000 students and 600 employees distributed across our five schools.

Axel Weüdelskolan is one of the schools within Kalmarsunds Gymnasieförbund, focusing on upper secondary adult education, basic adult education, Swedish for Immigrants (SFI), adult vocational education (lärvux), as well as care and nursing. There are approximately 1,400 students and 65 employees.

Job Description

We are now looking for an engaged and knowledgeable teacher who wants to help develop our adult education.

As a teacher in Care and Nursing (VO) with us, you will teach courses within care and nursing programs and become an important part of a competent and collaborative team. Together, you will drive the development of teaching and systematic quality work forward, with a focus on high quality and good results for our students.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are qualified to teach vocational subjects within care and nursing. You have a genuine interest in pedagogy and always place the student's learning at the center. As a person, you are collaborative, flexible, and contribute with a positive attitude. You also have a commitment to development work and want to be involved in improving and renewing the operations.

If you have a background as a nurse, we consider this an asset.

We also value that you have good digital competence and feel confident using digital tools as a natural part of teaching.

What We Offer

• Salary: Monthly salary.
• Employment type: Permanent position.
• Working hours: Daytime.

Before an offer of employment is made, an acceptable extract from the police criminal record for work in schools must be presented.

To strengthen Kalmarsunds Gymnasieförbund's ability to operate during heightened readiness, all permanent staff will be assigned to wartime duties (krigsplacerad).

The position is filled on the condition that it does not need to be taken over by surplus personnel or that required political decisions are made.
