About the Learning and Culture Administration

The schools in Nybro Municipality aim to give every child and student the best conditions for success. In Nybro Municipality, children, students, and guardians meet well-educated and engaged educators, teachers, principals, and staff who all strive to create a safe school environment with education quality in focus.

The Culture Unit aims to give residents good access to culture and strengthen cultural associations so they can conduct a broad range of cultural activities. The Learning and Culture Administration in Nybro Municipality operates preschools, preschool classes, primary schools, adapted primary schools, school-age childcare, upper secondary schools, and municipal adult education including Swedish for Immigrants (SFI) and special education for adults. Within the administration, there is education in glass craftsmanship through the National Glass School in Pukeberg, as well as commissioned training and higher vocational education.

The Learning and Culture Administration is also responsible for libraries, music and arts schools, a culture house with a cinema, youth clubs, and general cultural issues. Position Overview

This autumn, we are expanding our organization as we are a new F-6 school growing from the ground up. We are now looking for a special education teacher with a focus on mathematics, language, and literacy development who wants to join our journey and preferably has experience teaching at the intermediate level (grades 4-6).

Responsibilities

Your assignment will include teaching at both individual and group levels, as well as documentation responsibility regarding investigations of special support and action plans. You are expected to mentor teachers in their teaching assignments and work for accessibility in the pedagogical, social, and physical learning environment so that students can reach as far as possible based on the school's knowledge goals. You should be familiar with mapping and assessment support.

You should have the ability to work both strategically and operationally and have the ability to analyze different results and relate them to teaching quality. Some development assignments may be included where you are also responsible for teacher training from a special educational perspective. Depending on operational needs and subject qualifications, other teaching/assignments may be included temporarily or in the long term.

• Meritorious if you have education and experience in SFI (Swedish for Immigrants) teaching.
