We are now looking for a teacher assistant at Ludvigborgsskolan for a temporary position.

Your responsibilities

Your task as a teacher assistant is to create structures based on the group's needs to make the school day as predictable, safe, and clear for the students as possible, which contributes to increased peace of mind and study environment.

The teacher assistant acts as pedagogical support and, together with the teaching teacher, creates good learning situations by finding working strategies, reinforcing what works for each student, and working preventively.

You work together with and parallel to the teaching teacher, assisting with learning materials that students can use, in addition to the lesson materials provided by the teacher. Together with the responsible teacher, you continuously monitor the students' situation, create preventive plans, and handle arising situations. You maintain continuous contact with guardians, both regarding the student's situation and development.

Your qualifications

We are looking for you who have education as a teacher assistant, or equivalent post-secondary education, with previous experience and/or training in meeting young people with NPD (Neurodevelopmental Disorders) diagnoses.

You have a strong drive to keep the development of the pedagogical environment alive. Your ability to collaborate is very good, and you are accommodating and clear in your approach to young people, guardians, and colleagues. To fit the position, you should be structured and able to handle stress.

The position is subject to a background check. Applicants must present an extract from the police's criminal record register before employment takes place.
