We are now looking for you who are a teacher for grades 7-9, primarily in Swedish, at Östra Ringskolan in Gamleby.

As a teacher, you are responsible for planning, teaching, assessment, and documentation of students' knowledge development. You lead the pedagogical work in accordance with the school's governing documents. The teaching will include both regular class instruction and a specific smaller teaching group at the school.

As a teacher, you work to promote each student's development and learning. It is your responsibility to build good relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. You serve as an adult role model for all students at the school.

We are looking for you who are qualified to teach primarily Swedish at the lower secondary level (grades 7-9).

Previous experience from the lower secondary level is desirable, and we would appreciate it if you have prior experience working with students who struggle in regular instruction.

You have the ability to plan and organize your work. You possess strong pedagogical skills, good subject knowledge, and the ability to motivate and engage. You have the ability to meet students who may need adjustments based on their varied prerequisites.

You have good interpersonal skills; the ability to listen, show empathy, and respect.

At the school, we work together to accomplish our tasks.

The position does not include mentorship duties as we have full-time mentors at the school.

The position is subject to a background check. Applicants must provide an extract from the police criminal record register before employment begins.
