About Ljungnässkolan

Ljungnässkolan is a school for grades F-6 with approximately 320 students. Approximately 50 employees work at the school. The school has teachers, lead teachers, special education teachers/special needs teachers, counselors, and school nurses. The school has two parallel classes for F-6 as well as after-school programs, and is undergoing exciting change work. The school and after-school program collaborate regarding both students and facilities. Our working method provides security and continuity for our students and good cohesion in the staff groups.

Ljungnässkolan is a VI-school. This means that we receive students from the teacher education programs for grades F-3, 4-6, and after-school teachers from Linnaeus University in Kalmar.

Job Responsibilities

At Ljungnässkolan, we work in work teams, and you will work with different teacher categories. Together with your colleagues, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, documenting, and developing the pedagogical work for the students in the school and at the after-school program.

The collaboration between the school, after-school program, and guardians is important to us. Our task is to look after the students' needs together and work based on them.

Your main task will be to work with children in need of special support, but it may also involve working in the after-school program and preschool class.

The position may also involve some work at Mölstadskolan, as both schools are planned to become a joint F-6 school in the long term.

A certificate of good conduct (extract from the criminal record) will be requested before employment can become actual.

Employment Form and Terms

Employment Form: Fixed-term employment.
Duration: 3-6 months, start: 2026-08-17 or by agreement, end: 2026-12-18.
Holiday cover position, 40h/week. Possible opportunity for extension.
