Responsibilities

Correspondence Gymnasium is an upper secondary school that offers distance education for the entire EK, HU, SA, and NA programs. Our school targets students with documented medical, psychological, or social issues, or who have other special reasons. The school's approx. 550 students live in different parts of Sweden and the world.

To meet our students' needs, we work with teaching groups where our approach is individualized and flexible, which places demands on high and broad competence among everyone who works with us.

We are looking for a qualified upper secondary school teacher with eligibility in mathematics combined with another natural science subject (chemistry, physics, natural science, biology).

You will, among other things, work with:

• Internet-based distance education in your subjects.
• Development of methodology and pedagogy within digitized, internet-based education.

We offer flexible working methods based at the Correspondence Gymnasium in Söderåkra.

Qualifications

Qualified upper secondary school teacher. Preferably with knowledge and experience of distance studies or distance education, as well as education focused on, and/or experience with, students with special educational needs.

You have a great ability to create good and trusting relationships with students and the ability to create conditions for students to interact with each other. To be able to develop and maintain good quality in teaching, you should have knowledge of digital communication channels.

We offer flexible working methods, 50/50 based at the Correspondence Gymnasium in Söderåkra, which means that staff according to schedule can work approx. 50% from another location than in our premises.
