Kalmarsunds Gymnasieförbund is a municipal consortium responsible for operating and developing upper secondary education and adult education for the member municipalities of Borgholm, Kalmar, Mönsterås, Mörbylånga, and Torsås. We have approximately 4,000 students and 600 employees distributed across our five schools.

Lars Kagg School is one of the upper secondary schools within Kalmarsunds Gymnasieförbund. The school has approximately 1,300 students and 130 employees. We offer both vocational programs and university-preparatory programs. We provide a collegial and pleasant workplace with engaged colleagues in a developmental environment.

Job Responsibilities

You will teach mathematics and physics. As a teacher of mathematics and physics, you will also work in teaching teams and subject groups, and participate in various development groups. You and your colleagues will create a developmental study environment for the students, an environment characterized by creativity and high goal achievement. In addition to teaching, the role includes guidance/mentoring.

Qualifications

To qualify, you must hold a teaching certificate for upper secondary school according to the regulations in the Education Act (SFS 2011:326). You must be qualified to teach mathematics and physics. You should be interested in working in teaching teams and subject groups and participating in various development groups. We place great emphasis on your personal suitability for the teaching profession.

Before an offer of employment is made, a satisfactory extract from the police criminal record for work within the school sector must be presented.

To strengthen Kalmarsunds Gymnasieförbund's ability to operate under heightened readiness, all permanent staff will be assigned to wartime duties (krigsplacerad).

The position will be filled on the condition that it does not need to be taken by surplus staff or that required political decisions are made.
