About the Workplace

Blanka Ängars Preschool is located centrally in the town of Mönsterås in a quiet and relaxing environment. The preschool has three departments with a large outdoor yard where we can be together or split up. We have access to a beautiful natural area in the immediate vicinity that offers varied nature as well as waterways with rich bird life.

Job Responsibilities

The role of preschool teacher entails a special pedagogical responsibility for planning, implementing, observing, documenting, and evaluating education based on the School Act, the curriculum, and Mönsterås Municipality's guidelines. We work with challenging learning where challenge, mindset, feedback, dialogue, and transitions are important concepts for learning. During the next two years, we will participate in a project, Languages in Different Environments, together with Linnaeus University.

We are looking for someone who is curious, engaged, and can contribute to development with the child at the center. You should offer each child secure pedagogical care and promote the development and learning of all children. We work exploratory and investigative in longer projects together with the children, where we capture a flow of the children's thoughts and experiences.

As a preschool teacher, you are responsible for ensuring that every child has real influence over the methods and content of work, in accordance with Lpfö 18, revised 2025.

You should have a positive attitude and good collaboration skills, able to see opportunities and solutions. You should feel confident in creating good relationships with children, guardians, colleagues, and other partners.
