Do you want a role where you combine service, administration, and development work? Do you thrive on creating structure, supporting operations, and contributing to secure information management? Then this might be the job for you. Ockelbo Municipality is now seeking a Registrar for a temporary position lasting until 2027-08-31, with the possibility of extension.
As a Registrar, you will become part of the Business Support unit and work closely with the municipality's Registrar and Archivist. The role is broad and varied, combining operational registrar work with the development of routines, processes, and working methods within document and information management.
You are responsible for managing the municipality's public documents and play a key role in ensuring secure, efficient, and accessible information management. The work is carried out in close collaboration with operations throughout the municipality, where you provide support, guidance, and expertise in the field.
A part of the assignment also involves staffing the municipality's Welcome Center (Välkomscentrum). Here, you are an important contact point into the municipality and help residents, employees, and other visitors via phone, digital channels, and personal meetings. You contribute to a professional and service-oriented reception and help guide visitors correctly within the organization.

We are looking for you who have post-secondary education in public administration, archival and information science, political science, law, administration, or another area that the employer deems relevant. Alternatively, you have work experience that the employer considers equivalent.
The position requires experience in registering and diary numbering incoming and outgoing documents, as well as releasing public documents within public operations. You have good knowledge of the principle of public access and a good understanding of the Public Access to Information and Secrecy Act, the Administrative Procedure Act, and the Archives Act. You are also accustomed to working in digital systems and express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing.
It is meritorious if you have experience in registrar work within municipal operations as well as knowledge in archive management, information security, or data protection. We also view positively experience in developing routines and policy documents, conducting training initiatives, or supporting operations within document and information management.
As a person, you are structured, meticulous, and quality-conscious. You have the ability to plan, prioritize, and drive your work forward independently while maintaining a service-oriented approach. The role involves many contact surfaces, both within the organization and through work at the municipality's Welcome Center, which requires good collaboration skills, a professional reception, and the ability to adapt your communication to the recipient and situation.
We are looking for you who thrive in a role where you both manage and develop working methods within your area and who gladly share your knowledge to support operations. Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.
Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
Duration: 6 months or longer, start date: 2026-10-01 or earlier by agreement, end date: 2027-08-31.

If you are a citizen of a country outside the EU/EEA, you must also be able to prove your right to work in Sweden by showing a valid residence and work permit. We do this to ensure your identity and that you have the right to work in Sweden.
According to the municipality's decision on register control, anyone offered employment must present an extract from the criminal record register before an employment contract can be signed.
