Your Role

We offer stimulating and varied work. The tasks cover several areas including coordination, planning, staffing, and administration. The working hours are 40 hours per week, during daytime, Monday – Friday.

As a Team Coordinator, you are an important support to the unit manager and a significant collaboration partner with assistant nurses, care assistants, and nursing aides in planning the daily schedules for customers. The main priority in the role is to ensure planning in relation to the approved services for customers, with a focus on economic and health aspects. As support to the unit manager and employees, you are responsible for employment and qualification administration, procurement, training, meetings, follow-ups, and development work.

In your position, you will have contact and collaboration areas within and outside your own organization, including colleagues, customers, relatives, home healthcare, and assistance and fee case workers. You need to feel confident speaking in front of a group.

Description of the Workplace

Help create a successful Söderhamn! In the Welfare Sector, we focus on adults over the age of 20. The sector brings together the operations and competencies that together have the greatest impact to strengthen the resources of adults and the elderly so they can live as meaningful and independent a life as possible in all stages of life. Approximately 1,100 employees work here, meeting people in various life situations through their professional roles in areas such as care and nursing homes, home care services, home healthcare, LSS housing, social psychiatry, addiction centers, and social assistance units.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a high school education and relevant post-secondary education in areas such as administration, logistics, planning, or another area that the employer deems equivalent. Alternatively, you have documented experience in qualified planning and coordination work.

You have experience in operational planning, for example in staffing, scheduling, or resource allocation, preferably from larger operations, and are accustomed to handling complex flows, making prioritizations, and making well-founded decisions based on operational needs.

The work requires that you have very good computer skills and work unimpeded in various operational systems. Experience with Life Care or similar systems and good knowledge of the Microsoft Office package are meritorious.

Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, as well as a driver's license for cars, are requirements for the position.

It is meritorious if you have experience working in home care services, for example as an assistant nurse or care assistant. An understanding of the operations and its processes is valuable, as is the possibility to support the operations in daily work if needed.

The position is a coordinating and planning function that suits you who enjoy working strategically and operationally with structure, planning, resource optimization, and operational flows. The role focuses on coordination and planning rather than traditional care work.

To thrive and succeed in the role, you are a person who sees opportunities, takes initiative, and is happy to share your knowledge and experiences with colleagues. You have a positive attitude, are curious and engaged, and act with good judgment in both decisions and communication.

You have the ability to analyze and synthesize complex information, make trade-offs, and prioritize based on operational needs. At the same time, you work independently and take responsibility for finding solutions even in situations where there are no obvious answers.

The role requires that you are flexible and adapt easily to changed conditions. You need to be able to meet the needs of different individuals and, if necessary, be willing to make short interventions in care assignments when the operation requires it.

Since the work is done in close collaboration with colleagues and other functions, it is important that you have good teamwork skills and are a communicative person who listens, builds good relationships, and adapts your communication to the recipient and situation. You also have good pedagogical skills and an understanding that people absorb information and knowledge in different ways.
