HR Controller at Region Gävleborg
Region Gävleborg is in an intensive development phase where digitalization, new technical solutions, and increased demands for access to quality-assured data create new opportunities for operations. As part of this development, several initiatives are underway to strengthen the region's analytical capabilities, including the procurement and development of future HR systems.
Within the HR administration, there is a strong focus on developing the use of HR data and personnel statistics as support for monitoring, management, and decision-making. Through analysis, reporting, and quality-assured data, the conditions are created for the organization to make well-founded decisions and meet future needs. The role is part of a specialist area with a region-wide mandate and many contact surfaces within both HR and other operations.
We are now looking for an HR Controller who wants to contribute to the development of both the operations and the HR Controller function. Here, you will have the opportunity to combine analytical work, operational development, and digital development in a role with significant impact on the region's future ability to turn data into operational benefits.

Job Responsibilities
As an HR Controller with us, you will among other things:
- Actively contribute to developing the HR Controller function and its deliverables.
- Participate in cross-functional activities and projects.
- Proactively and independently analyze outcomes and trends and communicate them to different target groups.
- Develop HR's and Region Gävleborg's ability to gain fact-based insights and decision-making.
- Produce both regular and need-adapted reports and decision support materials.

Qualifications

As an HR Controller, you should have:
- A university degree with a focus on data/information management or equivalent.
- Experience in operational development in collaboration with IT development.
- Very good ability to verbally and in text create understanding of complex issues.
- Very good knowledge of the Office package.
For this position, it is meritorious if you have experience with HR processes and HR systems, as well as experience with complex organizations.
