About the workplace

Jobbcentrum is a unit within the 'Working Life and Livelihood' area of the Social and Care Administration in Hudiksvall Municipality. Jobbcentrum covers labor market issues, financial assistance, settlement and reception of newly arrived immigrants, as well as the Municipal Activity Responsibility (KAA). The unit's mission is to counteract dependency on benefits and promote the inclusion and integration of residents into society. This is achieved through teamwork between social secretaries and coaches, as well as collaboration with various actors in society.

We adapt our work to best meet the needs of different individuals while creating conditions for a good work environment for our employees. Good treatment, belief in people's abilities, engagement, and joy in work are important values at our workplace.

The unit works with two main tasks:

• To support, motivate, and coach individuals towards independence, work, studies, and self-sufficiency.
• To investigate and decide on financial assistance during the period for the individual to achieve a reasonable standard of living.

Two of our employees at Jobbcentrum will be embarking on new adventures over the next two years, so we are strengthening the unit with two new colleagues.

We are therefore looking for four coaches for fixed-term positions until the autumn of 2028, subject to necessary decisions being made.

Interviews will be conducted on a rolling basis.

About the role

We are looking for you who are passionate about social work, labor market issues, and creating conditions for our residents to achieve self-sufficiency and an independent life. We seek someone who understands the mission: working with social change, stepping towards self-sufficiency, and doing this in close collaboration with social secretaries and other actors in society.

Main responsibilities:

• Coach, motivate, and strengthen individuals in their path towards work, studies, or other activities.
• Support individuals and receiving workplaces during activities, work training, internships, or other work-oriented, health-related, social, or language-strengthening measures.
• Monitor the individual's attendance, progression, motivation, and need for support, and document this in a legally secure and structured manner.
• Collaborate with internal and external actors.

We want you to be interested and curious about meeting people regardless of their life situation. You must have the ability to maintain good structure in the ongoing administrative work with change plans and follow-up of measures.

We welcome you who meet our residents with great respect, understanding, and the ability to motivate. You have a high service capacity and a genuine interest in supporting people in difficult situations. You also need to understand the importance of collaborating with other actors internally as well as with external partners.

Documentation is done in the business systems Accorda and Treserva.

Your profile

We are looking for you who have a bachelor's degree, preferably in the social sciences.

It is an advantage if you have knowledge of the documentation systems Accorda and Treserva.

We see that you are ambitious, have social engagement, the ability to collaborate with others, and are meticulous in your work. We want you to be creative, curious, willing to think new thoughts, and have a high sense of service and a clear individual focus.

A prerequisite for the position is that you value differences and have faith in the individual's own ability to create change. It is important that you work well with other people, can relate to them in a listening and flexible manner, adapt easily to changed circumstances, and see opportunities in change. We believe that you listen, communicate, and resolve conflicts in a constructive way.

About the administration

We give people the support they need so that they can then move forward on their own to work, studies, or otherwise get help to develop. We take care of our elderly when they need support in their daily lives. We are one of the few municipalities in Sweden with a consolidated social services administration.
