Description

We are now looking for a new colleague with a focus on parental and family support within the framework of early, non-needs-tested interventions. The position is located at Family House Klippan – an integrated reception center where you will collaborate closely with school staff and the primary care unit Young Mental Health. You will work with early interventions without needs testing, together with, among others, Family Center Fyren and our new family center Lilla Älv. The position is based in the Social Services unit for promoting family support and protection and is a fixed-term contract of approximately six months.

Responsibilities

In the role of Family Therapist, you work with various forms of interventions such as support conversations, family work, and network-oriented work regarding children and young people. You also lead structured treatment programs, both individually and in groups. The work is team-based and takes place in close collaboration with other professions, where you, together with, for example, school staff, healthcare providers, and colleagues from other units, create holistic solutions for children and families.

You will be part of a cross-professional context where joint planning, reflection, and collaboration are central parts of the daily work. It is required that you contribute your competence while being open to others' perspectives and experiences.

You work based on evidence-based methods and keep yourself updated on current research. An important part of the position is also to contribute to the development of the activity together with the team. The position involves some evening work, for example in the form of outward-facing information work or group activities directed at our target groups. If needed, you may also collaborate with other family therapists within the unit.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a social worker, social pedagogue, behavioral scientist, or have another relevant education assessed as equivalent. You have several years of experience in social work within social services or schools, and are confident in working independently with great responsibility.

It is meritorious if you have further education in systems theory as well as experience in network work and group parenting support, such as ABC or Trygghetscirkeln (COSP). The work requires you to be flexible, collaborative, and solution-focused. You have an interest in development issues and appreciate working in close collaboration with other actors to find sustainable and individualized solutions.

Great importance is attached to personal qualities, where your ability to be attentive, engaged, and adapt interventions based on the child's and family's needs is crucial.

A police record certificate will be requested upon employment.
