We are looking for an engaged and passionate family therapist/investigator for intensive investigations who wants to be part of our team in Kungälv Municipality. In this important role, you will have the opportunity to positively impact people's lives and contribute to our purpose of creating value in everyday life. You will work with families and individuals who need support and guidance, where your expertise and empathy will play a crucial role.

As a family therapist/investigator, you are responsible for implementing interventions based on assessed needs for assistance. You will collaborate with other key actors within social services, schools, and regional actors to ensure comprehensive solutions for the families you work with.

As an investigator in the intensive investigation team, you are a partner who conducts interviews, mappings, and observations, as well as documentation. Since the positions are new in this team, there are good opportunities to help shape and influence future work.

Responsibilities

As a family therapist/investigator Level 2 at Kungälv Municipality, you will play a central role in supporting and guiding children and families in need of help. Your work will be both meaningful and challenging, offering you the opportunity to make a real difference in people's lives.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Conducting investigations and assessments of families' needs and resources.
  • Developing and implementing individual treatment plans together with families and other professional actors.
  • Providing support and guidance to families in crisis or in need of change, helping them navigate difficult situations.
  • Working in close collaboration with other social service workers, healthcare providers, and other involved parties.
  • Documenting and following up on interventions and results to ensure high quality in the work we perform.

Qualifications

To succeed in the role of family therapist/investigator Level 2, we see that you have the following qualifications:

  • Relevant education in social work, social work degree (socionom), or equivalent.
  • Experience working with children and families in vulnerable situations, preferably within social services or similar operations.
  • Ability to create trusting relationships and show empathy for people's different life situations.
  • Strong analytical skills, ability to evaluate and document cases thoroughly.
  • Good communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team, with a solution-oriented approach and good collaboration skills.
