About the role

We at Perido are currently looking for a Payroll Administrator for our client, a brand-authorized car workshop. The workshop's motto is that it should always feel safe and easy for the customer to hand over their car. The workshop performs service, repairs, and warranty work on passenger cars and transport vehicles. The work is carried out on-site at the office in Gothenburg. A background check and credit report will be conducted before starting.

Your responsibilities

As a Payroll Administrator, you are responsible for the entire payroll process and ensure that salaries are handled correctly, efficiently, and in accordance with current regulations. You work independently on payroll runs and serve as an internal expert in the payroll area. The role also involves driving improvement work and contributing to the development of the company's processes and routines.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing payroll for approximately 400 employees
• Ensuring accurate payroll runs and performing necessary controls
• Handling vacation calculations, absence, sick leave, and other payroll-related matters
• Responsible for reporting and statistics to authorities and external parties
• Ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and collective agreements within the payroll area
• Troubleshooting, investigating, and resolving discrepancies in the payroll process
• Identifying and implementing improvements in payroll administration
• Acting as an internal specialist and advisor on payroll matters

Your profile

To succeed in this role, we believe you have a strong commitment to the payroll field and enjoy taking significant personal responsibility. You work in a structured and meticulous manner while possessing the ability to analyze problems and find solutions. Furthermore, you are service-oriented and have an easy time communicating with both managers and employees in a professional and pedagogical way.

Qualifications

• At least three years of experience in qualified payroll work
• Experience managing the entire payroll process independently
• Very good knowledge of Swedish payroll administration, labor law, and payroll-related legislation
• Experience with vacation management, sick leave, and reporting to authorities
• Good habit of working against deadlines with high quality
• Good system proficiency and experience with payroll software
• Ability to independently search for information and solve problems

Merits

• Five years or more of experience in payroll work
• Experience managing payroll for larger groups of personnel
• Experience with Flex Payroll
• Experience in developing, streamlining, or implementing payroll processes

Scope and start date

Full-time, consulting assignment for 6 months. Start after summer as agreed.
